Danny Forster is the founder of Danny Forster & Architecture, a design and architecture firm based in Manhattan. Under Mr. Forster’s direction, DF&A has become a dynamic and comprehensive design shop, working at every stage of building ventures: from concept, to structural design, to interior design, to marketing and branding strategy. Notable projects range from the renovation of Taylor Swift’s Manhattan penthouse, the reinvention of a 200-branch hotel brand for Marriott International, the master planning of a quadrant of downtown Charlotte, N.C., and the design of what will be the tallest modular hotel in the United States. Mr. Forster brings to his firm his talent and experience as an architect; an Emmy-winning television host and producer; a documentarian; an architecture professor at Harvard and Syracuse Universities; a sought-after public speaker, from TED talks to global industry conferences; and a thought leader in modular design. His diverse areas of expertise coalesce around communication by, for, and about private and public spaces.
