Elizabeth Whalley Buono, BSN, RN, MBA, JD

Liz originally joined the Westrock Global Adherence business in 2009 and has now rejoined to lead all regulatory engagements, develop overall marketing strategy, drive customer and market-level activity, and help develop the company’s adherence products for this market segment. Liz began her career as a medical/surgical and psychiatric nurse in the Boston area before enjoying extensive careers in “big pharma”, “big tobacco” and life sciences law practice. Liz has supported healthcare innovation efforts across the industry including projects with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the FDAWorking Group to Enhance Opioid Safety, the CDC PROTECT Initiative, and the Medication Adherence and Anti-Diversion Solutions working group of the Connecticut Alcohol and Drug Policy Council.
