Olwyn Pentinga joined Tirlan in 2022 as the Category Manager for the Butterfat’s and Rennet Casein portfolios. Olwyn has spent over 10 years in the dairy industry, in various commercial roles across Asia Pacific and Europe having previously worked for Agropur and Glanbia Nutritional’s. She graduated from UCD with a degree in Commerce and Chinese.

Tirlán Category Manager, Proteins

Dr. Eve Mulcahy graduated from UCC with a BSc in Food Science in 2010 and a PhD in Food Science in 2016. After working in a number of industrial research roles across functional and nutritional applications, she joined Tirlán in 2017. Eve is the Protein Category Manager which includes milk, whey and casein proteins. She is passionate about food innovation and bringing new products to the market.

Tirlán Applications Senior Technologist

Caoimhe O’Mahony graduated from the University of Galway with a BSc in Science in 2009 and went on to complete a Masters in Food Science, Technology & Nutrition from DIT in 2011. After working in a number of research-based roles spanning the areas of biochemistry, feed & food, she joined Tirlán (Formerly Glanbia Ireland) in 2016. Caoimhe is a Senior Technologist on the Dairy Applications Team working across several product category areas. She is passionate about bringing our dairy ingredients to life through innovative applications.

Tirlán Food Technologist, Cheese

Hao Ouyang joined Tirlán in 2023 as a R&D technologist for cheese and rennet casein. Hao is leading several projects across consumer and ingredient divisions in Tirlán. Prior to joining Tirlán, Hao completed his PhD work at Teagasc Moorepark and University College Cork, with experience in consumer research and a focus on cheese & dairy science and casein-polymer interactions
