As we live in an era where employees are constantly on the move, the best way to ensure that rapport is built is through technology.

Instant messaging is an effective method to establish communication as quick responses can be provided and queries can be sold instantly. Skype video conferencing can bring a personal element to relationship building as it provides a face to a name. Individuals will tend to be more proactive and more receptive when a face-to-face introduction is done.

Mobile technology is another method where you can keep the flow of communication clear with your CRO. Clear and quick decisions can be made through WhatsApp, email, phone and texting whilst you are on the go. Without you being in the office you are able to answer any questions and queries, which in effect will help you obtain the best result for your clinical trial.

Building a strong communication line with your CRO is easier than it was many years ago. Technological advancements have allowed the sponsor/CRO relationship to strengthen as there are fewer delays in responses. Instant messaging and video conferencing have made it easier for sponsors and CRO to communicate any questions and queries they may have, which have resulted in achieving clinical trial goals effectively.
