What to expect for 2018 – An Interactive Agenda

This year’s agenda will include a range of interactive sessions with exciting topics addressed by leading experts. On popular demand, the agenda will host an engaging presentation on how to face the day-to-day challenges in pharmaceutical packaging, labeling and regulatory departments to result in a smoother operational pace. Torsten Vilkner, Director Manufacturing Operations at Boehringer Ingelheim Fremont will present how to establish a strategy where all relevant departments can work together so that processes are met within timelines, and will also discuss how to develop the right mind-set and organization for success. The aim of this session will be to identify challenges experienced by the 3 departments and what solutions can be found in order to result in a more streamlined, understanding relationship.

The conference will also explore the wonders of technology within the packaging and labeling industry. One such session being how to enable temperature maintenance in your supply chain, utilizing innovative materials and packaging. Jeff Barnell from Medtronic will present a topic of growing importance on how to rethink packaging design and materials to reduce the impact of your packaging on environment. In this session, Jeff will talk about how to work with consumers for developing innovative packaging design and educating them through labeling on sustainable packaging.

On both days of the conference, there will be dedicated roundtable sessions at the end of the day to ensure you are getting maximum interaction and input into the topics, meaning you will leave with actionable strategies and tips to bring back to the office.

The 2018 agenda strives to bring pharma, biotech and medical device companies together in order to discuss the latest and greatest in obstacles and innovations for packaging and labeling.
