Dr. Maryam MKhani
Director, CCUS Technology Integration, Worley

Dr. Maryam MKhani is a registered professional engineer with 25 years of research, concept, technology and business development expertise in sustainable process technology at energy companies and energy-intensive industry, start-ups, and academia. She has diverse carbon capture experience both in Direct Air Capture and point source CO2 capture technology development, technology scouting, evaluation and implementation across multiple industrial sectors with both commercial and emerging/ leading-edge technologies. In her current role as Director at Worley, Maryam is working on technical and commercial aspects of CCUS portfolio to integrate innovative solutions across the value chain. She also holds an Adjunct Assistant Professor appointment at Schulich School of Engineering, University of Calgary, where she contributes to teaching graduate courses such as CO2-capture – Science, Engineering and Society.

Peter Hunszinger
Project Director, CCUS, Worley

Peter Hunszinger is a registered professional engineer with over 35 years of project management and engineering expertise including leadership roles at Chevron and Worley. He has 20 years of sustainable fuels and carbon capture project experience. Peter is Worley’s Global CCUS Project Delivery Lead. In this role he leads the activities of Worley’s CCUS Communities of Excellence to further grow Worley’s technical capabilities and capacities covering the complete CCUS value chain. Peter has strong values in reducing the cost and risk of CCUS projects to accelerate their implementation.
