Dr. Grace Farhat is an expert in the role of nutrition, antioxidants, and herbal extracts on health, particularly in the context of ageing. With a BSc in Nutrition and Dietetics, an MSc in Human Nutrition, and a PhD focused on the effects of antioxidants on health markers in older adults, she brings a wealth of scientific knowledge to her research. Her current work explores the impact of pomegranate extract, specifically Pomanox, on inflammatory markers, cardiometabolic health, and cognitive function in older adults. Dr. Farhat’s research provides compelling evidence for the efficacy of pomegranate as a natural intervention for improving health outcomes in ageing populations. She has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications on the therapeutic effects of pomegranate, polyphenols, and antioxidants in managing chronic conditions such as obesity, inflammation, and cognitive decline. As both a UK Registered Nutritionist (Rnutr) and Registered Dietitian (RD), Dr. Farhat is well-versed in the practical applications of nutrition in addressing health challenges for older adults.
