Highlights from 2018
IHTF 2018 saw delegates gather from across the world to explore the latest developments in hotel technology and digital marketing and sales. Featuring 50+ presenters and over 700 speed-networking connections, IHTF 2018 offered guests the opportunity to forge new relationships within the community and catch-up with old friends.
Split into 2 distinct tracks IHTF tackled the closely intertwined challenges facing both the IT department and sales and marketing. With evolving market dynamics and changing guest needs, IHTF seeks to offer answers and new connections in this challenging space.
Rufino Pérez from the NH Hotel Group kicked off proceedings with a case study on how digital transformation can be achieved by involving the whole workforce and having a leadership team passionate about digital. Rufino set the stage for our main day which began with the CxO conversation, 3 non-IT executives from global hospitality brands joined us to discuss what they really think about digital and what they need to hear from the IT team to greenlight investment.
Over in the Marketing Stage we were joined by the likes of STR, Google, Carlson Rezidor, Booking.com and Trivago who shared their insight on how to best engage guests and keep them coming back for more.
