Day one, we opened the conference with outlook of Medical Alley and US medical devices market trends, what are the challenges and what to be expected in next 5 years. We delved into new regulatory updates from Europe and the direction of FDA guidance with Anna Calleja who is a reviewer from TUV SUD. Eric Simso shared efficient budget management strategies from start-up CEO point of view and the budget confirmation process at the board room. Brent Shelton emphasized the importance of Early Feasibility Study in terms of saving time matter and risk management perspective through his case studies.
Throughout the second conference day, we listened to case studies regarding regulatory approval process including FDA advisory panel review with Jennifer Bolton from Boston Scientific and Patient preference trials with Mahtab Fatemi. Also, Lars Oddson went through clinical reimbursement strategies from study design stage and how to demonstrate value to payers. Lastly, delegates had the opportunity to further discuss the key issues identified in the conference as well as building networks.
