Simon Baggs, CEO – INCOPRO /Partner and Head of IP – Wiggin LLP

Simon Baggs is CEO at INCOPRO and Partner and Head of IP at Wiggin LLP.  His litigation team has won many of the most significant cases in the UK concerned with protecting IP rights in the online environment. Simon co-founded INCOPRO to provide IP owing businesses and their legal advisers with intelligence based technology and services to help fight the explosion of IP infringement online.  In 2015, Simon’s team won the Financial Times Award for Innovation in Intellectual Property and in 2016 his team won the Legal Week award for innovation.


Stephane Malec, Head of Brand Protection -Toyota

Stephane has worked in brand protection for 8 years.  He is responsible for the European and Eastern European markets and their fight against counterfeit goods, grey import and signage infringement, online as well as in the field.  He has developed a holistic brand protection and anti-piracy strategy for his regions.  Stephane has tackled more than 2500 cases with a success rate of 90% in the field. His main achievement is the elimination of Toyota counterfeit goods in Turkey, in addition he has also drastically reduces the availability and counterfeit of grey import in Kazakhstan, which doubled Toyota’s the sales in the country. Stephane is a regular speaker at Brand Protection events and will help us develop the GBPS 2018 agenda.


Dave Lukasik, Brand Protection Manager – Lumee

Dave Lukasik is a Brand Protection professional with over eleven years of experience developing, implementing and managing successful channel management programs for global organisations.

He develops individualised, cost effective programs following a proven strategy for success. Directing the consumer to purchase authentic products, through authorised channels, at the right price has resulted in the removal of millions of dollars’ worth of unauthorised offerings and increased the opportunity for the sale of authorized products.

Dave successfully created a business case for, developed, and managed Motorola’s first global brand protection organisation. The successful endeavour at Motorola resulted in the removal of over $25M in counterfeit product annually with limited headcount and a limited budget. Dave and his team develop and manage comprehensive brand protection programs for numerous, global, organizations and is currently managing Brand Protection activities for the highly popular “LuMee” line of phone cases.


Federica Zambelli, Head of Brand Protection Department – Barzanò & Zanardo IP Firm

Prior to that Federica spent five years as Worldwide Intellectual Property and Brand Protection Senior Manager at Moncler spa. Federica’s IP & Brand Protection team in Moncler was awarded by WTR as the 2016 Team of the Year for Fashion, Cosmetics & Luxury Goods.

Prior to working at Moncler Group, Federica developed her career at Ferrari SpA where she spent several years as Brand Protection & Licensing Manager.
