Henrik Herr is Head of Wealth Management Germany at Rothschild & Co. Before joining Rotschild & Co in 2021, Henrik held various leadership positions at Credit Suisse during his 17-year tenure at the bank. Most recently, Henrik was Head of Private Banking for Germany and Austria and a member of the supervisory board of Credit Suisse Germany. Henrik started his career at Deutsche Bank. After successfully completing a bank apprenticeship, he gained his first professional experience as a Private Banking client adviser.

Henrik Herr ist Leiter der Wealth-Management-Aktivitäten der Finanzgruppe Rothschild & Co in Deutschland. Bevor er 2021 zu Rotschild & Co. kam, hatte er während seiner 17-jährigen Tätigkeit bei Credit Suisse verschiedene Führungspositionen inne. Zuletzt war er Leiter des Bereichs Private Banking für Deutschland und Österreich und Mitglied des Aufsichtsrats der Credit Suisse Deutschland. Henrik Herr begann seine Karriere bei der Deutschen Bank. Nach erfolgreichem Abschluss einer Banklehre sammelte er erste Berufserfahrungen als Kundenberater im Private Banking.

Francesco Mandalà, CIO, joined MBaer Merchant Bank in February 2021. His background is in Economics and Financial Engineering, and his competencies are portfolio management, fixed income modelling, macro strategy, risk management and fund analysis. Previously, Francesco worked at UBS and Julius Baer in various roles. Earlier, he was a Statistician at the European Central Bank (ECB) in Frankfurt and an Analyst at the Committee of European Banking Supervisors (CEBS) in London. He currently collaborates with the Swiss Finance Institute (SFI) and co-leads some Master Classes together with SFI Academics. Francesco holds a Certificate in Financial Engineering & Risk Management (Columbia University), a Certificate in Investment Management with Python and Machine Learning (EDHEC Risk Institute), a PhD in Economics (Pavia University), an MSc in Economics & Econometrics (Southampton University), a BA in Economics (Bocconi University, Marks: 110/110). Reto Cueni joined Vontobel Asset Management in 2014 as a Senior Economist. In 2020, he was appointed Chief Economist. He focuses on longer-term topics to support Vontobel’s positioning as a thought leader and to shape the company’s strategic asset allocation principles.

Prior to joining Vontobel Asset Management, from 2009 to 2014, he worked as an empirical researcher and lecturer at the Economics Department of the University of Zurich. Today still he is a guest lecturer at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW). He started his career in 2006 as a quantitative analyst in Equity Research at Vontobel Investment Banking.

Reto studied at the University of Zurich, at Universita degli Studi in Siena, and at the Columbia University in New York. He holds a Master’s degree and a PhD in Economics from the University of Zurich.

He brings industry insights, strategy, marketing, client understanding and modern technology experience to assist firms on their journey to meet evolving good practice, be future ready and well positioned ahead of the next wave of industry and competitive disruption.

With international experience and an extensive network, he is a recognised industry thought leader and author and serves on the editorial advisory boards of leading wealth management publications. Ian also helps build the next generation of industry talent through mentoring the U.K. PIMFA industry association under 40 leadership committee. In recognition of outstanding contributions to the industry, he received the 2022 PBI (Private Banker International) London Industry Ambassador Award.

Previously, Ian has held senior roles with Accenture, helping achieve the successful post-acquisition integration of Orbium, a software integrator, into the firm. Prior to this, he was with IBM and PwC, serving their global financial services clients with the design and delivery of various business led, technology enabled change initiatives.

As the co-founder and former CEO of Suzugia, an AI-powered investment decision-making firm acquired by AllianceBernstein in 2022, Sahar pioneered the development of a groundbreaking “multi-agent platform," an AI-driven version of the traditional multi-manager platform that leverages natural language processing and machine learning for optimal decision-making processes. Following the acquisition, she served as a Senior Vice President and Portfolio Manager at AllianceBernstein until June 2024, where she co-managed the AI-powered multi-asset strategy within the firm's hedge fund solutions unit.

Sahar's expertise in AI/ML and quantitative investing, combined with over a decade of experience leading digital transformation initiatives for top-tier companies across various industries, positions her as a thought leader at the intersection of technology and finance. Currently, she focuses on supporting promising startups and scale-ups as an investor and advisor, drawing upon her extensive knowledge of data science, solution design, and business strategy to drive innovation and growth. Sahar is passionate about leveraging technology to solve complex challenges and is a strong advocate for diversity and inclusion in both finance and technology.
