Kate Coffey leads BRANDIT’s Legal Enforcement team and is based in Zurich, Switzerland.
With more than 10 years’ experience in intellectual property, Kate advises on all aspects of IP and brand protection with a particular focus on trade marks, brand protection and domain name disputes. Advising clients across an array of industry sectors, Kate acts contentiously and non-contentiously on behalf of several famous and well-known brands. She has acquired extensive experience in brand counselling, trade mark portfolio management, trade mark clearance, prosecution and enforcement across the EU and internationally. Kate loves to keep abreast of technologies which assist and indeed hinder the fight against counterfeits.
Kate joined BRANDIT in 2018 after having spent over 5 years with FIFA’s Intellectual Property team, including working as part of their brand protection team and supporting the on-site programme for two editions of the FIFA World Cup. She is a registered Irish and European trade mark attorney and is a member of INTA and WISLaw.
