Tala Fustok

Tala Fustok was born in London to an English mother and a Palestinian father.
Exposed to a rich mix of influences thanks to her multicultural heritage, Tala has always been
interested in interiors – these same influences have informed her style and can now be seen
throughout her work.

Tala’s eye for vintage pieces, which she honed at an early age roaming flea markets and galleries,
alongside the refined architectural discipline she learnt while studying at London’s Architectural
Association, are the perfect antithesis for which she based her design aesthetic.

Tala graduated from the AA with a RIBA Part I, and it was here that she further developed her love of
architecture and design. After graduating, she moved to Paris and worked at an interior design firm
for five years on high profile projects including the Hotel de Crillon for Karl Lagerfeld.

While in Paris other opportunities arose that heralded Tala’s return to her hometown to launch the
Tala Fustok interior design studio. Her aesthetic rapidly attracted a variety of projects, for both
Commercial and Residential including the multi-award-winning Mandrake hotel in the heart of
Fitzrovia.
