Arlen Stawasz is a Regional Resilience Leader for Gensler in the EU and has focused his career on ESG resilience planning for zero net energy, carbon, and water-focused architectural design. He has expertise in flood resilient architecture, climate adaptation / social equity strategy, and emergency disaster response systems – working with many communities on multiple projects at various scales across the globe. In addition, Arlen has conducted extensive research in many countries to learn from the most advanced water focused societies and their unique conditions of living with water and extreme heat. Arlen serves as an adjunct faculty member of the Boston Architectural College with a focus on teaching advanced resilient design and climate adaptation architectural studios.
