Darryl Fett

Darryl has over 31 years of Oil and Gas Industry Experience, primarily in the drilling and wells discipline. This includes both field and office-based positions in the USA, Norway, Scotland and France.  He is currently the Manager of Research for Drilling & completions at Total E&P Research & Technology USA, LLC., based in Houston, TX, where he is working on various technologies that improve safety, efficiency, integrity, and productivity in the drilling and wells domain.  Much of his current work is focused on ‘augmenting’ the well construction process with various ‘digital and automation’ related efforts.  He is the leader of The Open Group’s OSDU^TM Drilling and Wells Interoperability (D-WIS) Program, both of which he will present on today.
