Peter “Harry” Harris is a champion of co-experience, from living and working, members clubs and hotels to community engagement initiatives. An architect by training, he founded SUSD in 2004, a company which has focused on delivering standard-setting, complex projects in the hospitality and residential sectors.
About the company
SUSD delivers complex, standard setting hospitality projects, on time and on budget. Acting variously as developer, architect and project manager, the firm identifies opportunities, introduces funding partners, delivers high-quality value-added design and oversees the construction process.
In the recent past, SUSD has acted as Developer of the Devonshire club, a boutique hotel and private members club in the City of London, as well as Developer of The Curtain in London’s Shoreditch which opened in May 2017. The Curtain was successfully sold to the Reuben Brothers just over a year later. At the beginning of 2019, SUSD won planning consent for The Grotto, a hybrid members club and hotel overlooking the Thames in Berkshire. The company is also acting as Development Consultant for The Collective Canary Wharf, the world’s largest co-living initiative.
