Joyce brings over 22 years of clinical drug development expertise where she has worked effectively across multiple disciplines, therapeutic areas and clinical stakeholders. For the last 16 years she has focused on patient engagement and has a deep understanding of the Rare Disease and pediatric clinical trial space. She was an active member of ICON’s Rare Disease centre of excellence and has presented at a variety of industry events. Joyce has worked with multiple sponsors from early engagement and protocol development through to implementing robust clinical strategies for rare disease studies that engage the different stakeholders including families, clinical sites, patient advocacy groups, home nursing and clinical teams to overcome the specific nuances of these complex trails. Joyce’s has a long history of developing and deploying technology to engage with both sites and patients and is passionate about increasing participation in clinical trials that decentralized models can facilitate.
