Shopper Intelligence is a new global industry program of shopper measurement, covering all the major categories and retailers in the United States and 8 other countries. We provide robust, in depth metrics gleaned direct from shoppers – focusing on satisfaction, needs, decision making and the path to purchase. With a huge sample, used by both manufacturers and retailers, it complements Scan, Panel and Loyalty data, getting closer to the “why”, to inform category and shopper marketing plans. For the first time, we show how any one category compares to others, and benchmark explicitly from retailer to retailer.
