What new sessions will the 2018 program include?

This year’s conference promises to be our most exciting to date, with presentations from some of the industry’s top leading experts in the field of outsourcing and vendor management. The following are a sample of what you will find in Cary in March:

Nicole Leedom, Director Clinical Operations at SpringWorks Therapeutics will be exploring ways through which teambuilding between in-house and partner teams can improve trust between parties and minimize resource misuse. The aim of this session will be to uncover ways through which CRO team members can be brought into the sponsor company to create a cohesive unit which will further the success of your trial, while at the same time considering whether a complete or partial outsourcing model is the best to achieve this cohesion and stay within your budget.

Shailesh Chavan, Vice President of Clinical Research, Medical Affairs & Drug Safety from Biotest Pharmaceuticals will be leading a workshop which will unpack readily available technologies in the clinical trial arena to explore their usefulness in your studies. The aim of this workshop will be to provide an opportunity for the audience to share thoughts and insights into the usefulness of technology in their clinical operational systems whilst exploring the cost implications of on boarding this.

Ashley H Johns, MSHS, Director of Clinical Operations at inRegen alongside Karthi Natarajan, Director, Clinical Affairs from Mayne Pharmaceuticals will be exploring on a panel whether niche vendors or full-service providers are the best in delivering quality and helping you stay on budget. Amongst other things they will explore which vendor is more flexible in its ability to align itself with your internal structures and deliver results on time and in budget or outlining your internal outsourcing capabilities to determine which vendor is within budget.
