What new sessions will the 2017 programme include?
During the conference, we will have two engaging presentation from Sanofi. The first will explore what supply chain complexities arise from using biologics and how best to approach these from a packaging and perspective. Meanwhile, the second will explain the rewards that arise from overcoming comparator sourcing challenges and how shared knowledge can aid the industry as a whole.
Within the technology stream we will have a presentation from Bristol-Myers Squibb/TransCelerate which will cover the practical benefits of e-labelling while aiming to highlight how the framing e-labels as a patient friendly solution, instead of as cost cutting mechanism, can improve regulatory buy-in.
Following on from this, Novapeutics, will cover ways to safeguard temperature controlled shipments by addressing the need to improve controlled room temperature technologies given increasing regulatory demands in this area and show how IRT technology can help monitor temperature fluctuations throughout the shipping process and account for any damages that occur.
On day 1 the main conference and the tech stream will run in parallel, attendees will be allowed to choose topics that are most interesting to them and discuss challenges in more detail with their peers. On day 2 the main conference will end with roundtable discussions looking into ‘Exploring the challenges of importing into the US and Europe’ and ‘How importing into the US affects your Latin American trials’
