What new sessions will the 2019 program include?

This year’s conference promises to be our most exciting to date, with presentations from some of the industry’s top leading experts in the field of outsourcing and vendor management. The following are a sample of what you will find in Raleigh in March:

As part of our brand new Clinical Trial Technology & Innovation section we will kick off with a session on data analytics and how it can improve clinical trial feasibility, delivered by William Symonds, CEO of Altavant. William has a wealth of experience in incorporating new tech into trials and he will be exploring the use of analytical tools and various data sources to advance your feasibility process. We will also see a case study session from Ed Addison, CEO of Cloud Pharmaceuticals, discussing the use of Artificial Intelligence for recovering phase 3 clinical trials.

Why are clinical trials leaving out minority populations and what can we do to change this? It is being seen more and more how minorities are not being included in clinical trials, therefore one of our sessions on Day 2 will explore why this is, what you can do about it and how including more minorities will boost your study’s chance of success. This session will be led by Oleg Tcheremissine and Rodney Villanueva from Atrium Health and will get you thinking outside the box about how and why you should be recruiting from a more diverse group.

Christopher Heery, CMO at Bavaria Nordic, will be debating the best approach to CRO interactions by exploring the various models for CRO-sponsor relationships and identifying how you can continuously evolve your model to achieve trial success. Christopher is going to draw on his vast experience in the industry by highlighting how business models need to change to keep up the demand of regulatory goals and the ever changing clinical landscape.
