What to expect

This conference promises to bring together key industry figure heads from large and medium sizeoperators, UK government agencies and solution providers. As such you can expect a program which is led by the industry’s requirements to unpack what matters to your business in the coming future.

Our events focus will be on the strategic needs of operators, and the onus will be on not only surviving but thriving in a new regulatory environment and the role of technology in managing compliance and supporting market growth. By the end of the one and a half day event you will be in a prime position to meet the regulatory challenge and enhancing the customer experience through disruptive innovation.

Mishcon de Reya will be delivering a workshop which will be looking into the impact GDPR will have on operators and how these new data protection regulations will require companies to review their current strategies quickly enough to not be in breach of regulation come May 25th. The aim of this session is to go above and beyond mere compliance and focus on how you can monetize GDPR.

Tim Miller, Executive Director, UK Gambling Commission will be echoing the regulators concern that “problem gambling is a public health concern” and how operators and government need to work jointly to ensure customers gamble responsibly. This presentation will be followed by the UK Competition and Market Authority who will be reviewing the CMA’s recent and ongoing enforcement activity in the remote gambling sector, in particular tackling unfair and misleading terms and practices in relation to online promotions.

Jamie Hart, Group Director E-commerce, SuperBet will explore innovations in technology which will drive your business potential by reviewing transformations within the industry to harness lessons learnt in the past and how to apply these to future products while harnessing the power of VR as a way to connect customers emotions to your product . Furthermore this session will consider a future beyond mobile platforms and what customers will be using to access services in the near future while at the same channelling the power of data analytics to improve the overall customer experience and keep on growing your customer base.
