What to look forward to in 2019

In light of current events such as Brexit, heavy investment in digital transformation and new technologies such as AI, there is no better time to discuss what’s happening in the digital space within the public sector. The agenda promises a range of high level speakers and topics focused on showcasing recent developments and obstacles in the digital world.

Key sessions include:

  • Exploring how AI is already being used in the public sector by HMRC to pave the way for further advancements in the public sector. This will be delivered by Chief Digital and Information Officer, Jacky Wright who will consider approaches to AI from both the private and public sectors.
  • A last minute cheat sheet to ensure you are prepared to be in accordance with GDPR regulation set to be implemented the following month. We will also look at measures to put in place to ensure continued compliance post GDPR implementation. Find out where you stand and if you’re ready for the biggest change in data regulation in recent times.
  • The NHS spotlight which will showcase the design principles considered in user-centred technologies, a look into the NHS GP app and an idea of NHS’s long term vision in the digital space.
